So while I was on coffee break yesterday, I browsed a post from Travis which appeared on my Dashboard, and I find the post interesting. I remember Notes on FB. When there were no cool apps yet, like Farmville or Restaurant City, Notes were the "in" thing. So I decided to go Notes on this post of his. (I hope he doesn't mind)
1. Pray. – did that before I
went work, and before eating lunch
2. Go to bed on time. – didn’t. I was with C and his friends and we hanged out till 2AM.
3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed. – didn’t do that either. Woke up around 10AM, and reported half day at work.
4. Say "No" to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health. – I can’t. Not if my boss puts 60% on my Performance Appraisal on this particular project.. Tsk tsk..
5.. Delegate tasks to
capable others. – I’ll try.
6. Simplify and unclutter your life. – hmm…
7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.) – True. I’ll keep that in mind.
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places. – Not in the near future, I guess.
9. Pace yourself. Spread
out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things
all together. – Not if the team is undermanned, and the deadline is 1st Quarter (mind
you, it’s already the 2nd month of 1st quarter.. *sighs*)
10. Take one day at a time. – Noted!
11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety. If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it. – Uhm, yeah, sure…
12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases. – Not a fan of credit cards.
13. Have backups; an
extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra
stamps, etc. – done!
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth
Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble. –
I should tell this to people more often.
15. Do something for the
Kid in You everyday. – did that just that; bought a Frostee from Wendy’s.. hehehe..
16. Carry a Bible with
you to read while waiting in line. – I’ll try.
17. Get enough rest. – Hmm..
18. Eat right. – right as in on time? Or right as in healthy? I just downed a Wendy’s Baconator for lunch, so uhm, I guess I failed on this one.

@^travis: oh hey there! thanks for dropping by! :)
thanks for sharing your list, and apparently there's a part two of it.. so i'll make a post on that one too.. :)
Item #5 is somewhat a trust issue no? It's so hard to delegate something if you feel the person can't do the job better. Hahaha. But always remember, delegation is a mark of an excellent manager. :)
@leomer: true! there are times when you would want to do stuff on your stuff because you know you could do it better, than entrusting it to someone else. :P
